My replies must be going to individuals and I am not able to explain myself
clearly and efficiently.

I have lived here since October. That is 8 months.

I have been to *every* shop here within 50 miles, got in trouble with one because I
refused to leave my car for an entire day of diagnositcs rather
than start with 2-3 hours. I said I had appointsments and would have to
then bring it back another day if 3 horus wasn't enough for htem.

THat wasn't convenient for them so they
told me not to come back. This was when I called the day ahead to find
out, as my calendar was filling up, whether they would have my car done
by 11 a.m. when I was dropping it off at 7:30. Mind you I made this appointment
over *two and a half weeks* in advance.

I have asked EVERYONE I see with an Audi who does their work.

Some say: I don't know who to go to, haven't had any problems yet.

Did you know that in West Hartford CT there are Audis everywhere.
They are very fashionable and YUPPIES there all have them.
Especially the T Car.

This is AZ and lots of people here drive 4-wheel drives and trucks,
Phoenix being the exception.

Yes the RICH here travel back and forth to Scottsdale regularly.
I know because my husband works on about 75-90 of their homes
frequently. They have $800,000 homes *both* here and there
so I know that they travel to Scottsdale to get their work done.
The drive back there to shop like some of us do as well.

They ALL tell me tell me to go to the Audi dealership in Scottsdale.

There is no good mechanic here. The father of Chris Franke who
used to be superb doesn't work in the shop any longer. His ski
champion young son is in there now and is very expensive.
I can hardly afford him and it makes me cringe to take my car in there.
He was one of the $800 for a timing belt, if you all recall, and the
other shop wanted $800 as well.

I cannot take my car to those places.

You think I haven't checked all over Flagstaff? ;-)
That is all I have done since I moved here as my car didn't run
right when I left W. Hartford. I brought it here on a tow dolly
behind the deisel truck.

Why would I take a car to Sedona to a guy I really didn't trust
from the git go (my husband insisted I take it to him after I said
I didn't like him because my hubby said he was too busy to work on
it) when I have someone here?

My husband is the only one around here who does that sort of work.

There used to be an Audi dealership here in Flagstaff and they
were shut down by the A.G. or something or other. Dishonest.
Lots of crooks here in AZ, much to my disappointment.

Cheers, Fay
