Given that info... here is another possibilty....it happened to me and is 
mentioned in sjm site as well!!
In the lower intercooler hose there is a "tubular sponge". (Don't know 
what it is for other than soak up oil).  This sponge can get loose and 
turn sideways in a hose or blow itself all the way up into a dark hiding 
place in the intercooler.
My car would start, idle, drive OK if you take it very easy, but no good 
power, and the boost guage would not go to 1.0.
Just a thought.
