Instrument cluster differences

My wife's '86 (built 5/86) 4kq has the plain jane instrument cluster with
an analog clock and no "computer" features.  My original Audi, an "'86"
(built 11/85) 4kq, a rustbucket parts car,  has the IC mit computer stuff.
What's involved in putting the fancier cluster into the car we're still
using?  Is all the wiring for the computer stuff already in the plain jane
version?
