4kq fuse tray connectors answers

In case anyone else gets stymied by the mass of connectors on the bottom of
the '86 4kq fuse/relay tray and the possible variations for the connectors
in the "M" section, what I found by examining my parts car (on which the
wiring will allow raising the tray high enough to see connectors in place
without disconnecting any) is that the Yellow connector goes to position
75s, the Blue to 75as, the Brown to 30az and the Red to 30as.

After I got it all back together, I reconnected the battery without finding
any more smoke and then I turned the ignition key enough to engage the
starter and got no more smoke, so I think I'm safe.
