Rear Tierod nuts

What I found works on tie-rod nuts is to put a ball joint puller (the 2 arm
"claw" with the threaded center rod) on the _other_ side of the rod end..
i.e. when you tighten the tool it pushes on the back of the ball joint.  If
you do this you create enough frictino between the ball joint and its
carrier that you can then unscrew the nut without the shaft/ball assembly
spinning.
