4000Q ideas: Manifold Q

I'm reading the fortitude site, "thats right upgrade your coupe gt 4kq 5-3-1 
exaust manifold and down pipe good condition........."
Now, I remember a "header" pipes type but this one is different.

I'm like, hey that looks like the parts manifold that came with my 4000Q 
w/Mc-1 transplant.
They seem to be pretty close on top of each other so hence the Q:

Is this 5-3-1 EM (in two pieces) a starting platform to custom flange a turbo 
onto the end of the first piece?  Eyeballing it, looks to have more room than 
the wastegate location of the Mc's "log" EM................

Anyone ever do such a franken - conversion?
