... perhaps you mean GTI?  I am unaware of an Audi Fox GT being sold in 1978 
... in the USA at least.  I should have known, because I bought an Audi Fox 
GTI brand new in 1978.  It has been gone a little over a year now ... 
hopefully it is burning up the roads of northern Europe now.  If you want to

I can certainly understand an interest in them.  I suspect that one place 
you might have some luck is the "DOG" group ...

... just checked in over there ... in the Audi Fox/80 section there are 
pictures of an older model Audi 80 Turbo Quattro!!!  I've seen *very* well 
cared for examples come up for sale there ... too bad it is a forum ... I 
never managed to be able to keep up with things in a forum format ... much 
prefer lists ...
