Wow, and what a trip it turned out being. About 3 miles south of Daytona the
trans in my dually (1979 Chevvy C30, 454cid) started slipping, so I made my
way to a friends house near there. Had to stay the night, then get another
friend to bring his truck up to pick up me and the trailer (my truck and the
parts in it are still at the place in DeLand near Daytona). Then near Hobe
Sound about 50 miles north of my home base we blow a trailer tire. The spare
is guess where? Yep, in the dually, in DeLand. Had to drop the trailer and
come back for it this morning. The lucky part is the save made by my friend
when the tire went. We were knowingly hauling too much toungue weight for
his Chevvy 1500, even after we moved the Q car to the back of the trailer as
much as safely possible, so we were keeping the speed down. When the tire
went it started the trailer in a big tank slapper, but know-how taking over
instinct got Steve to mash the throttle to get it straightened out, then
slowly bleed off speed and head for the right side of the highway

My cylinder index is now in the rediculous level. I'm at 30 JUST IN AUDI's,
plus 12 worth of 914's, plus the 3 cyl Scoobie, plus an FZR1000 4cyl engine,
plus two one banger bikes, making 51 total, not including the under 5cid
engines for the remote control do-dads.

CPU Count - Three run at home, one at shop, one laptop for traveling, and
one laptop for tuning the cars. One linux box at home, but it hasn't been
turned on in 3 years.
