Where I can see why one can see an A3 or A2 (the car already exists in
another part of the world, the shape is well known, it will be sold here in
a few months, etc.) what I don't understand is why a manufacturer would take
the risk of showing a car _nobody_ ever saw is beyond me. That a strange
strategy, since we all know how important is the
"communication-pitch-hype-blah-blah" near a new model launch.
BTW, Honey was sure this SUV was just a new vehicle, so she didn't look at
the license plate or the name of the model on the trunk lid... Now she knows
how important it is for us Audi gearheads...:-))

Probably a test mule/market research/tech training
car.
Here in L.A. I see costumed prototypes on an almost
weekly basis. Where's my camera?! In fact, I've seen
many an A3 for some reason...they're after me...
