CV Boot Clips

I got a nipper from Harbor Freight for something like $1.99 on sale just for this purpose.  I haven't yet used it, but don't see why it won't work.  I'll find out soon enough as one boot on my 4k is in two pieces........the new boot is sitting on the passenger seat awaiting install.

Yes, I agree.

The tool is often called a nipper. It does work well to pull nails.

Try one of these nippers to crimp the CV boot clips:
