As power increases, there is a tendency to favor the rear wheels. I believe
the Chrysler Hemis, with 4WD, do the same. Interestingly, several of my friends
have ordered Hemis. None have opted for 4WD. The thought process is
additional cost, additional weight, additional problems. If the weather is that bad,
I'll wait. The streets will be cleared in 2 hours. Chrysler has also done a good
job of promoting their limited skip. In one independent test, it out
performed a WD Subaru in a "snow test". Actually, I have always understood that "go in
snow" has more to do with ground clearance. It is the snow building up under
the car that stops you. (Yeah, I have a few Chryslers).
