Just my 2p.

Shortly after buying my Ur-q I fitted stainless lines.

I have to say that I noticed no difference in pedal 'feel' and was more that 
a bit surprised how badly they fitted - slightly short and the hex fittings 
were a weird size, not metric, not AF and not Witworth. The last straw was 
when I came to change a caliper and realised that I couldn't clamp them.
'Downgraded' to OE rubber lines, inspect them every few months and change 
them every couple of years - they cost next to nothing compared to the steel 
ones too.
