Search the page for "No backup lights".

The obvious:
"Check the bulbs first.  Then check the backup light switch."

The not-so-obvious:
"The connection at the switch was fine on my car, and the next
connector upstream was connected... but the terminals inside
that connector weren't connected!"

"Check the wires at the left trunk lid hinge."

If it's not the bulb, my money is on the trunk hinge wiring.
