Snow tires

Did you really mean that your car was unstoppable?  
If you had Nokian tires with studs; you might have
been able to stop the car when hitting the brakes. 
Just kidding; I think I knew what you meant. 

The only real reason with a Quattro that you need
tires is to STOP or STEER the car. Almost bald tires
will get you going; the key is to deal with physics
and change the momentum of the car to do what you want
it to do.
