Toss your opinion out there. Opinions are like assholes - everyone has
one. Some are bigger than others. Doesn't make it better
The owner is one of the best VW techs in the southeast. He sourced S2
parts from europe to make this as exact a conversion as possible. It has
coilovers and its been weight balanced - you want it higher, raise it...
The car was stripped to a shell and repainted. Pull up the carpet,
remove any panel - you won't find any tornado red on the car... If he
decided he wanted Nogaro blue trim that's his business. If his tire
sizes are mismatched but his revs/mile are the same, who cares - the
quattro system won't. Are you going to disparage Porsche for doing the
same thing on their Carrera 4? Their rim sizes don't match either.
The brakes are S2.
I've seen the car - its one of the finest conversions I've seen. No
expense was spared. He doesn't want to sell it, but has to. He's looking
for 20K. Whoever buys it will get a gem.
