VW engine mount for 90Q/4KQ rear diff mount, it works

When I was followed home by the 90 20VQ with a bad rear differential mount
bushing, I was told that a VW engine mount bushing was identical. So I picked
one up. Sure enough, it fits. It looked tighter than I would like, so for fear
of cracking the cast bracket, I spun the bushing around on my grinding wheel. I
don't think I removed a uniform thickness. Any way, I threw it in the press
and it "slid" right in. That means I think I had to put a little more pressure
on it than I thought I would. The press is heavy duty and does not read out
pressure, so it may be my imagination.

The "webbing" looked a little less than on the one I removed. That one was so
worn/beaten it was hard to tell what it looked like originally. I understand
that the VW people frequently switch in a diesel mount because it is "firmer".
The local flaps didn't have one, so, I went with what they had.

Now, if I could find a manual window regulator for my ' 82 CGT, I might be
inspired to make that a "runner".
