No speedo

If it's anything like my 90Q, and it probably is, there are two 
connections to look for first.  One will be a four or more pin connector 
near the joint between tranny and engine, probably on the driver's 
(port) side.  These are the speedo sender and reverse switch circuits.

Then back near the half shaft output area there should be a sender 
screwed into the FD housing with a plug attached to it.
