tire experience w/Falken? treadwear grade?

First off, anyone know what the treadwear grade of a
tire is? I'm guessing the higher the number, the
longer the expected life?

Also, anyone have +/- experiences w/Falken tires?
Specifically the Falken Ziex ZE-512? In a nutshell I'm
looking for cheap tires that aren't, um, cheap.
