I don't know what is on the door jamb, but the AudiWorld
site lists the following curb weights:

'90 V8 - 3946 lbs
'91 V8 - 3946 lbs
'91 V8 - n/a
'93 V8 - n/a
'94 V8 - n/a

For the record, I also checked the '97 A8 quattro: 3902 lbs. (1770 kg).
