Used 4.2L A6's going cheap-what's up?

Why do you say that? It seems to me that mainstream luxo cars go a bit cheap
on ebay, and ricers go a bit rich, but I've bought cars from private sales
through, eg, autotrader at prices  lower than what I would expect from an
ebay sale.

If your going by what they are "Selling" on ebay, I wouldn't put much on
those numbers. Ebay is not an accurate representation of used car values.
