Computer crash lost contacts NAC

Wish I had this yesterday. Perhaps it can still help - does NTFS maintain a
partition copy that is not overwritten when drive gets repartitioned and
formatted as per XP install?

I had most of my data on a separate disk, but everything that was bundled
with the prior XP installation eg. Outlook, IE, and the registries were
lost.

Any other info. on how to use this - I have it running now and it appears to
have pulled up 3 partitions(copies) and one may contain my files from the
prior OS install that crashed - pretty slick. Do I select that and specify
single files, or just recover the entire partition?

Thanks

Ben

Audi content - hopefully a lot will be recovered!

Just a little note. For those who suffer horrible drive crashes, you
should try an application called "GetDataBack" (ooh, like, unique and
stuff). Can be found on tucows sites. Recovered data from drives with
both physical and logical crashes, and the occassional format]
