URQ valuation

Well, I have been going rounds with the insurance company over the  valuation 
of my crunched 83 URQ, and they have finally responded with a  procedure 
whereby we both have the car appraised, and "meet in the  middle".
The customer service has been less than stellar.
Any advice on getting a car appraised would be appreciated.

I will be buying the car back as well, so parts may be available in the  near 
future, depending on what car I can afford to replace it with, and what  
parts I need for that.
