Breakdown in St. Louis. Help!?

$2600 to extend the harness with some wire, put a new connector on  
the end, helicoil the spark plug hole, and install a new plug and coil?

Please post the name of the dealer, because it sounds like they're  
trading a few hours labor for two grand in very rare and expensive  
parts (it sounds like they want to replace the entire head, among  
other things).  I think listers might like to avoid them in the future.

Tow the car to a shop in the area which can Helicoil the head.   
Everything else should be trivial.
