That usually means electrical -- the coil itself, or a timing sensor
like the Hall sensor, or maybe just a spark plug wire going bad.

It rarely happens, but sometimes the timing belt has been known
to skip a tooth, cause similar problems.  Check the Audifans.com
archives, search for" "timing belt" "skipped a tooth".
