Whats a D platform car ?

If it's a modified type 44 shell with an extra 200 lbs
of gusseted plates to strenthen the body, then yes
that's V8 type 44 chassis :)


btw,  the 91 200 20v and the 90-95 V8's share the same
gusseted chassis for strength...


This is all covered in the overview doc for the V8
model, which is actually a pretty neat read...
