I did run Dex in a couple of Type 44 cars... it did seem to "wick" 
through Rad hoses... I would see coolant appear in the fibres visible at 
the end of hoses.  Really odd stuff.   I gave up and went to a 
Propolyene Glycol based coolant a while back... no more wicking.
