**** Good point. You mean operations at different altitudes. However, I
think the altitude sensor in the car is the primary adjuster for the
air/fuel mixture as a function of altitude.
I think the O2 sensor is self correcting for altitude. The less oxygen there
is, the less you burn . . the ratio of oxygen between the exhaust gas and
the atmosphere will remain the same. As such, the ECU cant use the O2 sensor
for mixture control as a function of altitude.
