200q20v handbrake cables

Hi All,

As a new 200qa20v owner, this is the sort of thing I don't know!

Though the handbrake cables for the 20V have unique part numbers (slightly
different length than 10V, maybe more), are they functionally identical? Can
the twin hook pivoting thingie under the handbrake lever take up any slack,
5mm on left, 12mm on right, so that normal MC cables could be used?
