Winter Tires needed in Montreal

Most winter tire compounds work best when new, so I wouldn't want to use
someone else's worn tires. A 195/65-15 would give you a slightly taller
tire with a slightly more skinny profile to let you go through deeper snow
and put more of the car's weight on a smaller patch to make it bite more.

My personal preference is Nokian Hakkapeliitta. I've driven on the Q model
since we're not allowed studs here, and now I'm going for the RSi, the Q's
replacement. On our V8s and my 200q20v, I'm running 205/60/15.
