Winter Tires needed in Montreal

I second Kneale's opinion, no point buying used winter tires. You're better off
buying inexpensive but new.
In Montreal you should be able to find a Maloya dealer. I bought a set of
Maloyas three years ago in Ottawa and I know the vendor brought them
in from Montreal. Maloya is a Swiss company owned by Vredestein,
the Dutch giant. Excellent tires, still on the car, and the price was below
what I would pay for regular Canadian Tire stuff, I think it was
around $60 per tire including balancing.
Call around wrecking yards and get a set of rims, you'll be
all set for quite a few years.
Let me know if you need any help.
