Steve,
If your talking about the adapter patch connector cable that plugs
into the rear of your stereo unit (in the dash),
your easiest bet is just to visit a large popular car stereo install
shoppe. They have these premade sitting on a shelf depending on the
radio manufacturer & auto vintage.

Hi all,
I have had a VW radio in my 5ktq for about a year or so now, a "Premium"
system head unit, similar in appearance to the Audi Gamma CC
(http://www.ibiblio.org/tkan/audi/radios/radios.html). It's made by
Matsushita (Panasonic) and I recently picked up a Panasonic CD Changer that
is compatible with the head unit - as the dealer was asking $$$$+ for the
cable, I went searching in my local wrecking yards. The only cable I could
find was missing the connector at the radio - I guess snips are easier than
unclipping a connector? I was wondering if someone had access to a
circa-1996 VW with said cable, so I could figure out which wire goes where
on the back of the radio.
Many thanks,
Steve Sears
