The timing belt service at my mechanic was nearly $900- when I questioned
him about it, I got to see his bills- the parts cost is insane on that job.
 $1400 at the dealership is not surprising, especially with the extra stuff
you're talking about.
 I always supply my own oil- it's much cheaper that way- $24.95/cs. at
Costco for Mobil 1.
