Scott Mockry of SJM Autotechnik fame http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/
has expanded his very resourceful Audi information website by becoming a
source of parts. He's a WorldPak or some such parts outlet and also has
connections with a dealership that lets him generally get anything, at a
price, of course, but that's something Rod couldn't do for dealer-only
parts. Scott also has had useful used parts. And, of course, he's a whiz
at our cars.

I've found Autohaus AZ http://www.autohausaz.com/ to have quite a few
parts at TPC-like prices.

And the "parts at cost" program at Sunset Audi/Porsch in Oregon
http://www.sunsetimports.com/porscheatcost.php has gotten me stuff nobody
else seems able to get. Pricing is sometimes quite good and sometimes a
bit high, but it's all OEM stuff. And, of course, they're a dealer.

A lot of east coast folks like Clair Parts Express
http://www.clairparts.com/ but I've always had a great deal of
difficulty communicating with them, even over the phone. They've been real
slow for me (I have to have everything shipped because I'm in rural
northern Michigan), both in responding to queries and getting parts shipped
out. And their pricing hasn't been any better than other sources.

I've also gotten stuff, both new and used, from Chris Semple at Force Five
   http://www.force5auto.com/ He's a dismantler, but he has a parts
source nearby and passes on some of his savings for new parts.

Finally, I've gotten a few things from Parts Bin
http://www.thepartsbin.com/ They carry some things at better prices and
some things at higher prices than other similar outlets.

All these outlets work best if you have CORRECT parts numbers. If you have
uncertainties about which parts you need, I'd start with Scott Mockry
and/or Sunset.
