Autocheck oil pressure warning

I'm having an annoying problem. The autocheck oil pressure warning triggers
when I turn the key to start the engine. Of course it will go out when I
engage the starter so I get oil pressure, but only the tenth of a second the
ignition is on before the starter enganges, it will light up and beep three
times. It appears like there should be a delay after turning the ignition on
before this warning sould trigger. How can I fix this? As it never lights up
with the engine running, I guess both oil pressure sensors are OK.

The car in question is an '88 100TQ, last one with the old dash and the
"overhead-projector" autocheck display, not
LCD.
