Grant;

Have to taken a really good look at the connector that plugs into the
ignition switch? You may have a flaky connection or broken wire. Just a
thought. It seems odd that you would get so many bad switches.

Yea, everyone on the planet has had this problem. Its the electrical
portion, the one that's about $39 for the German OEM part and $20 for
the, drum roll please, even crap7754ier chinese part. Hard to believe
they can &%$# it up even worse than OEM, but they can!

Its not the lock cylinder. Of course, if you've been reading my woes
lately you now this, but lately, I rue the day I replaced the one that
simply didn't return to "run". That one worked for 8 years and took a
slight twist of the wrist to fix the occasional problem.

Since then I've had 4 (as of this weekend) fail differently. Now the
car doesnt start. Cranks with no fuel, no spark and no injector power.
Results in poor running, as you might imagine. aka dead as a doornail.

So replace it and I wish you well. But keep the original, in case some
day you WISH you had it back, as I do.
