BTDT on my coupe gt, the car actually wanted to lift itself of the
floor..
Without the tool I went ot a local garage and got them to put a heavy
duty impact on it and retighten... that worked
However, using the tool is so much easier

"I have tried to do the 5th gear/parking brake method with 1/2"
breaker bar, the bolt
hasn't budged... the clutch actually started slipping :(

I also rented an impact wrench, that didnt work either.... there's
penetrating oil
on the bolt (been soaking for a couple days)

Wonder if a torch would help it....

Thanks for your help!

Another method to remove the bolt for those of you on the more daring
side
(like me), is to use a 1/2" drive rachet and put it on the bolt, and
pull
the coil wire so the car cant start. Then use the starter motor to turn
the
engine over. It turns in the direction of loosening the bolt.

Obviously you cant tighten the bolt with this method, but if you are
waiting
for the tool to arrive before starting or your dismantiling a motor,
this is
an easy way to do it without the crank tool.
