Coupe 20v springs which is which

I think the taller springs are for the front - they handle more weight 
and need to have more room to move.  Oh, but I might be so wrong.  There 
is something that is very non-intuitive about the spring thing, front 
versus rear.  And it was discussed and clarified in depth "on these 
pages" many years ago - best of luck if you can mange to search the 
archives for the resolution!
