You won't see it here in the US, because we do not currently have the
infrastructure to support such an engine. That 4L diesel runs on a
specific type of diesel fuel made from sweet crude, which the US does
not support. We're currently caught in a catch-22 situation between
the refineries, the oil companies, and the auto manufacturers; the oil
company will not provide the pipeline for the sweet crude if the
refineries aren't asking for it, and the refineries won't ask for the
sweet crude if there's no market for that type of diesel.
