Looking through my '88 Rallycourse annual I find that a number of Audi's
were campaigned that year.  The majority were Coupe quattro's with a few
200 quattro's and some 80 and 90 quattro's.  I'm curious what the engine
used in the 80 and 90 might be.  I don't think that  Audi had any 20v
turbo's in '88 in production cars (but I could be wrong, remember this is
the Euro market) and I don't believe that the type 89 ever had a 10v turbo
factory installed.  I also think that it is pretty unlikely that the cars
had naturally aspirated motors judging by some top 5's against the Lancia
juggernat (Lancia won all but one tarmac rally that year).  Anybody have
any info?
