clicking/ticking noise, '88 90Q

Good one, Huw! The Bimmer folks I know say this type of baffling system 
was built standard into the oil pans on BMWs after early cars experienced 
the same problem. I didn't know (I usually don't &;-)) there was 
anything similar for the Audi....
