I wasn't sure the flywheel sensors were the problem on mine, but  had no way 
to check.
If they are not in play when running, you should be able to unplug them and  
have the engine keep running, which I don't think it will. (not sure)
I heartily agree with the other posts that it has to be something caused by  
the engine moving on the mounts. The flywheel sensors are zip tied to the  
firewall, and that was my thought process there.
The intake hose theory sounds very plausible to me. The tach behavior when  
it occurs should be a clue there. If the tach bounces- it's not the hoses. If 
it  follows the engine RPM closely, then I bet on the hose problem.
I had a CGT dyno air tested here in Colorado a few years ago with no hood  in 
place. It is amazing how much these 5 cylinders move in the first two  gears.
