I went out today and checked the relays since someone yesterday
suggested that it may be a relay. It is definitely the #3 relay ticking.
When I get home I'll try replacing the relay and see what happens.

my 88 5KTQ does a 5-7 sec dim/flicker and I really only notice it when
it is
dark out with my headlights on. Definitely a climatronic power draw. A
friend of mine whom upgraded to the 110A Ultranator and replaced all of
their main cables went from the same phenomenon to normality.
oh how I want to grab an ultranator and do that little upgrade!
