Really annoying hesitation... Help!

The fix is going to be a matter of drying and cleaning connections.

I'd hit the obvious first - remove the dist. cap and make sure all is 
nice and dry and clean under there, while you're at it examine the spark 
wires for quality.

Then, get some contact cleaner spray and silicon dielectric gel (NOT 
silicone sealant) and work your way through the engine compartment, 
undoing, cleaning and reassembling all the connectors.  Before you 
reassemble, goop them up with the dielectric.  Do *every* connection, 
one at a time, including the spark plug wire boots, battery terminals 
and eventually the grounds.

This should not only fix the problem, it might run better, and will run 
better when it is very humid/rainy, etc.
