Diesel Donor car (NAC)

Mark, if you do a bit of reading or a search on the audifans vw diesel
list, thre was a gentleman who did just this within the past few months.
A bit of browsing should bring it up. He was also using a 1.5 or 1.6 NA
diesel from a Rabbit, and was running it at 1800 RPM on diesel, as well
as used transmission fluid and oil. He had linked to pictures of it,
and it looked like a very nicely thought out piece of work.

It seemed to work well, but he had some internal coking problems with
the engine running steady RPM for a long time.

If I remember correctly, the one thing that he was still having problems
with was the interface between the motor and generator. He had some
sort of flexible system set up, but I don't recall what the resolution
was.

I'm sure if you hopped on there and asked for more details he'd be happy
to help.

Good Luck!
