To the first part, it's simply my way of giving something back to all the
people out there who have helped me with my car, and giving something back
to the list. Nice to know its appreciated!
To the second part, the gallery is VERY easy to use. Once you register and I
set you up as owner of your album you will see a drop down menu full of
options (only while in the album you own) including "Add Photos", "New
Nested Album", and "Rename Album" which are your most common options. When
you select the "Add Photos" option a pop-up will appear that shows some
options for uploading photos. The default Java applet that comes up is easy
to use, just click "Add pictures" to browse your hard drive, then when you
have all that you would like click "Upload". The only one thing that is
usually over looked (even by myself sometimes) is once you create a "Nested"
or sub-album while you are in the newly created sub-album use the drop down
menu to select "Rename Album", otherwise the URL will contain "Album01"
instead of "MyNew200_20v" or whatever you'd like it to be.
As far as sending links to friends, easy as pie. Simply use your browser to
go to your album, then highlight the URL in the address bar of the browser
and on your keyboard press "CTRL" and "C" at the same time. This copies the
URL to memory. Then when writing an e-mail or other message to a friend
press "CTRL" and "P" at the same time, which will paste the URL into the
message. Typically though your URL will be easy to remember,
"http://www.5000tq.com/audifanspics/your_username_here".
Also when in your album feel free to play arround with the options as much
as you want! You can't mess up the gallery no matter what you do, and any
thing you may change wrong in your own album I can fix easily. Just dont hit
anything that has the word "Delete" unless you realy want to delete ;-). Any
help beyond that feel free to ask me questions as you need, I check my email
entirely too often haha.
