Farewell after 7+ years

I agree!  The Ford Pinto is the only car I've seen with an automatic tranny 
where you could take your foot off the brake at a red light and the car 
would sit still without creeping forward ... I'll bet that was explicitly in 
the design requirements ... ;-)  The buddy of mine who had the pinto bought 
a brand new 1979 BMW 320i when we graduated from school ... it did have a 
manual tranny.  My 1978 Audi Fox GTI cost almost half as much and was 
quicker ...

I'll have to check in with him to see what he's driving now ... ;-)
