A4 control arm suggestions

One bit of advice I've picked up from the C5 A6 forum on AudiWorld is to
avoid the Meyle brand replacement control arms. There have been numerous
posts about them failing within a year of installation. It seems they may
have switched some of their production to China, and are having quality
control issues. They would be the least expensive option, but it seems you
get what you pay for. It seems that Lemfoerder and Febi/Bilstein brands are
much better. Pure Motorsport (http://www.purems.com/) carries the
Febi/Bilstein units, as do a few other online online places. HTH.

Subject: A4 control arm suggestions

Well folks, it's front control arm time for my 98 A4 1.8TQm. :-(

Any suggestions along the lines of the following two approaches:

1. Least expensive source for stock control arms?

or

2. Best aftermarket replacement control arms (perhaps something with
greasable ball joints)?

Thanks in advance!

Scott
