Gas here in Wisconsin is $2.75 / US Gallon.
That works out to about 72¢ a liter (3.7854 liters /
gallon)
That would be about 40p a liter in GB. (0.5621 pounds
/ dollar)
... or £1.29 for an imperial gallon.

And yes, we're still bitching about fuel costs.  =P
