You can have a stuck clutch from sitting AND issue with shift linkage.
Otherwise, like it was typed already, with engine off shifting should be
normal to all gears.

I had a stuck clutch (brand new, too) in a car (old Scirocco) parked over
grass during the winter.   That one needed the tranny out to free it up with
a little tap on the friction plate.  No amount of rocking and starting in
gear helped.
