Trunk lid won't open

What you need to do to the lock assembly after you get the trunk lid open

If your car has the ski sack, you can get the lid open using lighting and
some sort of long tool to activate the lever at the latch. If you can view
the latching mechanism on another car, you can visualize what you need to
do to get the lid to open on yours.
If your car does not have the ski sack, I think you have a solid bulkhead
behind the rear seat and will need the services of a locksmith to get the
lid open.
